About Us

Following in the footsteps of the Magic and Light camp-outs, rEvolution continues a tradition of almost ten years of mountain gatherings, as we return to a sacred meadow in the forests of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Of course we'll be providing crystal-clear slammin' sound, sick visuals and lighting, and an awesome mix of music from family DJ's and special guests. And of course we'll be gathering in an incredible environment; a space of power, with grassy meadows, wildflowers, waterfalls, swimming holes and amazing trees, all high in the mountains. What's far more important is what we're asking you to bring.

In the early days of the electronic music dance scene, parties were a wide-spread expression of creativity and interaction. And those creative outlets were not solely the domain of the event crew and musicians. We want to return to our roots, to propagate a revival, a re-evolution so to speak, of creativity, free expression, and participation; by and for all. And so we are asking all those who plan to attend to bring something special to share with others, be that crazy costumes, cool stuff to give away, performance of any sort, weird trip toys, visual/tactile/ performance/fashion art, free food or drink or whatever. Basically anything that you feel would be an expression of yourself that will provoke a response in others. And if you have something spectacular to share, and you need assistance from the rEvolution crew, please don't hesitate to ask for help.
